Allen Wilson Named Executive Director of Downtown Marion, Inc

We are thrilled to announce that Allen Wilson has officially transitioned into the role of Executive Director of Downtown Marion, Inc., following three successful years as our esteemed Downtown Marion Manager.

A Passion for Downtown Revitalization

Allen, a lifelong Marion resident and 2008 graduate of River Valley High School, has been a driving force behind the revitalization of our downtown. His dedication and leadership have played a pivotal role in bringing new energy, businesses, and excitement to our historic district.

Reflecting on his journey, Allen shares:"I've enjoyed witnessing the incredible growth within our downtown over the past few years and have cherished the opportunity to experience the vibrant life returning to our community alongside my family. Allen brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having dedicated countless hours to serving the community through volunteer work with organizations such as:

His passion for community service and strategic growth makes him the perfect fit to lead Downtown Marion into its next exciting chapter. In his own words, "I am excited to continue using my knowledge and volunteer experience to bring creative ideas to assist in the growth of Downtown Marion."

When he’s not working to enhance the community, Allen enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Megan, and their sons, Joshua and Finn. Whether it’s embarking on family adventures or creating lasting memories together, Allen values the importance of family and community connection.
