DOWNTOWN FLOWER PROJECT

The Adopt-a-Flower Bed Program, a partnership between Downtown Marion Inc. and the City of Marion, engages local businesses, residents, and community organizations in a collaborative effort to beautify the downtown area.

Cultivating Pride Through Beautification

Participants ‘adopt’ designated flower beds throughout the city, taking responsibility for planting, maintaining, and caring for these spaces throughout the growing season. By doing so, the program not only enhances the visual appeal of Downtown Marion but also fosters community pride and involvement. Each flower bed becomes a reflection of the care and creativity of its adopters, turning downtown into a vibrant, colorful destination for visitors and residents alike.

Driving Downtown Revitalization

This initiative is key in supporting DMI's mission of creating a welcoming, lively atmosphere, contributing to the broader goal of revitalizing Marion as a hub for commerce, culture, and community engagement.
